In General: The first few weeks of the New Year see all planets hurrying forward direct making us feel like we are on the road to some fundamental changes and that this change will have a solid sense of direction as opposed to the chaos of 2010. A partial Solar Eclipse occurs on January 4th, in Capricorn. This eclipse is definitely about new beginnings. This is a time for setting sensible, realistic goals and taking into consideration one’s future, and getting ready for it. With the forceful Capricorn energy of the Solar Eclipse, we have the opportunity to make crucial changes in our lives that will benefit us. Venus is in Sagittarius from January 7th. This energy is noticeably less focused; and brings out our more humanitarian and spiritual concerns. If your birthday falls this week then heralds a strong year ahead with very attainable goals. On the world scene it is a week for serious changes in fundamental places. Locally it’s important to organise your time well and make solid commitments to the future.
