In General: The first week and a
half of December is remarkably gentle, there are a few nice, short-lived
transits made by Mars to Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus. December 9th, the Sun in
Sagittarius sextiles Jupiter in Libra, which is great for relationships and
good fortune in general. It’s an excellent day to get things organized,
finalized or begun! Then as we get into the heart of December some very
exciting energy presents itself. Get ready for some strong new opportunities,
big changes and meaningful life lessons!
The Full Moon in Gemini on December 13th,
can produce powerful conversations, enlightening communication breakthroughs,
and take us on a learning curve that will serve us well.
The most difficult transit this month is the
Mercury retrograde that begins on the 19th. It's a time of confusion, delay and irritating
mishaps, all of which can be exacerbated at busy holiday times! Double check
your plans, take extra precautions generally and go slow! It can be good for
nostalgia though. The retrograde will be done and dusted on the 8th
January.
December 25th the Moon will be in Scorpio,
which can be intense, but there is also a trine between Venus and Jupiter. This
is great for romance, happiness and general goodwill. The next day, December
26th, Jupiter will oppose Uranus, which can make us very, very impulsive.
Typically this is a big shopping day, so I’d just recommend you to think twice
before buying.
If your birthday is being celebrated this
month then you can expect a year where relationships are highlighted nicely and
new learning will benefit you. On the world scene some things that have been
hidden should come to light. War, nuclear and fiscal issues are as always on
the agenda. The UK should figure prominently in the news at the end of the
month as will the USA with more confusion and possible change to come. Locally
it’s a great time to spend time with loved ones.

Aries
You have greater
energy and drive when you’re alone and doing things on your own this month! It’s
likely you will be finding other people physically draining. You may also need
more time alone to rest and recharge. The new moon on the 29th puts
the focus on your goals.
Taurus
On or close to December
13th, and you can settle financial issues, complete financial transaction, or just
generally get your finances back on track. You can be more focused on bringing
stability into your life, and will be calmer emotionally. The Mercury
retrograde suggests a step into nostalgia.
Gemini
December 19 th, has
Mars enter Pisces, making you feel more ambitious and driven, wanting to feel
that you’re making progress with your goals and getting closer to success. You can
be driven to work on your long-term plans and can also work on connecting with
the right people.
Cancer
You enjoy diving deeper
into subjects, situations, and people. In love, you will want to work on
strengthening the emotional bond you have with your partner. Others are draining you both physically and
emotionally so get as much rest as you can.
Leo
On December 13th, the
full moon in Gemini helps you to settle issues with others in a positive way.
On December 29th, the new moon in Capricorn, along with the Mercury retrograde
in Capricorn create a good energy for reconnecting with people from your past
or revisiting old projects that you have previously put aside.
Virgo
In December you are
driven to focus on your relationships, the people in your life, and creating
better connections with others generally. You will have more energy with a
partner or someone by your side. You want to be sociable and will enjoy the
energy of the festive season more than usual.
Libra
The
first week of the month is your optimum time for getting things done and
achieving the results you desire! Mid month it can be very easy to get
distracted by the high energy of the holiday season! You will particularly enjoy
indulging in gourmet delights! Interesting discussions will encourage and
delight you.
Scorpio
You will make
strong new connections this month. Your observational skills are highlighted
mod month and can pay off in a big way. The Mercury retrograde however can
cause you to be late for appointments or forget an important date, try to
double-check these details!
Sagittarius
Because the late November new moon was in
Sagittarius you guys begin this month with a sense of positivity and rebirth.
You will have an urge to find expression for your ideals and beliefs in a way
that defies old boundaries. Personal breakthroughs in consciousness are highly
likely!
Capricorn
This
month you are very persuasive and your words have more impact on others than
usual. This can be a double-edged sword so think before you speak. With Mercury

communications. The end of the month seems to increase your charisma and

Aquarius
This month is about re organizing your priorities and your
friendships. You are being given opportunities to get your life in order in a
way you never have before.
The financial, property or business clarity you need is on
the agenda for the first quarter of 2017, yes there is a good solution!
Pisces
Hidden aspects of yourself are about to become
more important to you now and could become the main focus of this month.
Reorganizing your life to accommodate extra study or volunteer work may also be
on the agenda now. You have an unusual ability top make things work out your
way now so use it to your overall advantage.
Astral Peeks: Mars in
Aquarius
Late November until December 19th Mars is in
Aquarius. Mars in Aquarius reminds us that the
greatest battle is often with the self as much as with any external force. It
can fortify us in the coming weeks, strengthening our resolve and standing
alongside us as we break through our own obstacles.
Mars in Aquarius tells us everything changes
if we let it and it’s time for us to do the same.
This transit can help us carve a unique path,
but only if we act consciously. Mars can fuel the ideals of Aquarius in a
positive way.
In the sign of the Water Bearer, Mars is ready
to fight for or defend ideals, but do remember they may not necessarily be your
ideals. Mars can be a warrior for any side of an issue, and the Aquarian energy
can manifest at extremes of the right or left. However during this transit Mars
also aspects all four main asteroid goddesses and this I believe emphasizes the
feminine influence in all things. It is the time of the female warrior and it
will be interesting to see just how this energy plays out on the global stage.
