Astral Meanders week 23-29 July 2008

In General: With both the Sun and Mercury in Leo this week we can expect that there will be an increase in the creative, fun and more ostentatious side of life. Planning, organization and being on time however may just have to wait. Another theme this week is about taking authority over our selves and our lives. Early on the Mercury trine Uranus can bring about a close look at our role in the wider community and in the family of the world so to speak. Later on Mars trines Jupiter and asks us to look at our work focus and the meaning of our lives. Where are we going and why are we going there? It would seem this week is like a big party with a serious side. Keeping the ego in a reasonable place while all this is happening can be the greatest challenge. For those who are having birthdays this week the ego challenge can be a year long one! On the world scene expect that the Leo influence will send a world leader or two into a power spin! Locally enjoy the fun but beware the need to be right all the time!

Astral news: The flying saucer debate may have a home grown counterpart…A new wingless, saucer-shaped aircraft is scheduled to take to the skies!! Professor Subrata Roy, a scientist at the University of Florida, has designed an aircraft he calls a "wingless electromagnetic air vehicle," or WEAV, and if it flies he says it could usher in a new age of aircraft design. "If this works and we are able to fly it, this will be a quantum shift in how we see flying objects," says Roy. In Roy's WEAV there will be two different sets of electrodes placed on a thin ceramic plate. One set will be located on the top and bottom of the craft to move ionised air down, providing lift. Another set along the sides to propel the aircraft forward. While the aircraft has no moving parts, the craft will spin to provide stability, just as the barrel of a rifle spins a bullet to make it fly straight. There is a possibility of a special outing this week or news arriving about one. Not one to covert the trappings of luxury as a rule, you will be pleased with this! The 5th is an especially promising day with Venus energy sitting nicely in your chart. You could also be continuing with some home maintenance activity this week and getting odd jobs under control. It’s good to be so organized!

The week begins very well, and lucky break or two could come your way! Your spirit is in positive mode at the present and this helps to bring good things your way.
