protection....

As November is quite a difficult month I thought some techniques to help you along a simpler path might be in store...we will start with this one.....

Simple candle ritual for banishing unproductive individuals/energies from your life


Firstly find yourself a quiet space where you are unlikely to be interrupted for 20 mins.
Have a white candle ready and a candle holder that reminds you of the individual/energy you are working with (i.e. a colour you associate with the individual/energy or a vegemite jar because they love this/symbol or some mind association that works for you)

Clear your mind and have a visual in your minds eye of the individual in question. Be sure to attach no feeling or judgement or such to this visual, be free of these things and impartial. (You are not judging or interfering with energy that is or might be appropriate…you are just allowing a protection of self and a space from the individual/energy in question…be sure not to do this with anger!)

Now light the candle and say the following: “ Blessing be upon this creature of light, that all negativity be henceforth cast out of my space and good only enter herein …May the power of light surround me and protect me and the ones I love from any influence that is unproductive or harmful in anyway. In the names of all I believe in ( you may enter a God or Goddess name as you wish.)

Spend a few moments concentrating on your breath, breathing deep into the diaphragm. Then Blow out the candle and whilst doing so visualise any ties or constraints associated with the individual/energy in question as dissolving and blowing back to whence they came. Now let go and give it no more thought!

If at any time in the future you feel the need to regain your energy space with regards to this individual you can light the candle and let go immediately, of any thought about this person, leaving the candle to burn a few minutes go about your normal routine, then come back and blow as before and give it no more thought!

If the candle has burnt down a fair way and you still feel you may need it in the future you can obtain another similar candle and melt it onto the remains of the original and continue to use as before.
