Astral Weeks by Bev Murray June 10th-16th 2009

In General: This week begins with Mercury squaring a Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune stellium, and in doing so making us a little fuzzy around the edges! It can be hard to focus and setbacks abound. Expect to take it slow, plan little of importance and you will be right! Friday sees an Aquarian Moon also connecting with this stellium of planets and increasing our emotional sensitivity. We want closeness and understanding, but then again we need our freedom and independence. Confusing! Stay away from complicated relationships and discussions. The week ends with Jupiter going retrograde, heralding a period of travel delays and a strong tendency to indulge the self to one’s own detriment! If your birthday falls this week, then expect that the year ahead will be a sometimes puzzling one and allow for more emotionality than usual. Practice thinking things through before you speak and communication will improve. On the world scene this week can also be confusing, mixed messages will have world leaders in a daze! Locally, keeping a low profile works best.

Aries
March 21- April 20
Perhaps this week is a good time to step back a little and take a breath! You have been on a social whirl of late and time to reflect and re-organise is essential. Keep an eye on finances and get ready to make some long term decisions. You achieve more by knowing when to stop and rest and when to ask for advice.

Taurus
April 21-May 21
You may hesitate or back out from signing a deal this week. With Jupiter retrograde things can be less expansive or profitable than you’d like. Career efforts will pay off towards the week’s end. Uranus is difficult for you this week messing up arrangements and confusing your plans. Just take things slow.

Gemini
May 22-June 21
It’s a good week for self confidence and going that little bit further to get what you want in life. Just be careful you do not push yourself too hard! With mercury moving into Gemini your communications kills are heightened. There will a lot of thought rolling around your head this week...act on some of it!

Cancer
June 22- July 23
It’s time to tie up loose ends and say what needs to be said. It’s an opportune time for reflection on the past too and learning those lessons! You are in the mood to push forward with things but you can’t do it until you have resolved the past! Be careful around the 16th as communication can be testy.

Leo
July 24- August 23
Its rime to be an example to others...in a good way! People are watching you and their actions can be heavily influenced by yours. That especially applies to children and those younger than you. In another vein it’s a time when you can really impress others by your actions. Careers can be boosted.

Virgo
August 24- September 23
Old issues and family business have kept you busy of late. Now it’s your time again! Anything to do with travel or education is highlighted. If going on holiday however, do expect some delays! You want more freedom to be yourself now and it’s a good idea to listen to your inner self in order to make this a possibility.

Libra
September 24- October 23
This can be frustrating week for Librans, merely because there are too many options and too many pulls on your energy! You are likely to be spending some time dealing with people who are authoritarian or at the very least in positions of some power. Something needs to rounded off and let go.

Scorpio
October 24-November 22
New revelations about your life and direction are part of the programme this week! You feel as if you are on the brink of something because you are, a philosophical break through and the making of some important changes to your habitual lifestyle as a result. Anything new interests you.

Sagittarius

It’s important for you to look at both sides of events now. Creating balance and perspective in your life is important. There are changes brewing in the work place for many Sagittarians too. It’s a case of letting go and just letting it all happen around you. It’s not a time for hard decision making.

It’s time to attend to all the odd jobs and chores that have been piling up slowly over the apt year. You also find that you are a bit spacy this week. It can be hard to concentrate and focus. Double check locks and electrical switches etc as you are highly likely to forget to close things off.
