In General: Thursday, August 6, there is a full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius. This eclipse urges us to explore the shadow spaces within ourselves. We can either wind up feeling rebellious, dealing with sudden change and trying to avoid the truth about ourselves or on a positive note, becoming more aware of humanitarian issues and breaking free of restrictive and limiting energies that have previously held us back. We can find ourselves swinging between vibrant personal highs and deep lows. This Full moon eclipse signals the likelihood of over-reactions and emotional sensitivity. Midweek Mercury will form a sextile with Venus. This sextile, which will affect the entire month of August, suggests helpful communications, partnerships and business deals, group activity and social networking. Mars squares Saturn on August 11. This is a real conflict of interests’ aspect. It can be a confusing and frustrating energy! Tempers flare too easily either side of this day and on this day! Time to practice deep breathing and relaxation techniques. If you have a birthday this week, the year ahead will be one of reflection and new discoveries about yourself. On the world scene, humanitarian issues come to the fore, overreaction and angry words and actions are also likely and perhaps some extreme weather conditions.
