astral meanders 14th-20th 2009

In General: Venus moves into Libra and squares Pluto early this week. This creates some disturbance in our personal comfort zones and insists that we look at the hard and deeper questions. On 14th Oct the Moon and Virgo Favour organization and detail in all our undertakings. If we oblige then all should be well! Do be aware of the very real possibility of sudden changes and be prepared. New Moon in Libra on the 18th picks up the general pace and leads us to try new things and often with new people. At the very least it pushes us to a new perception and response to the things and folk we already know. With the right attitude this could be a very enjoyable and enlightening time. For those who have birthdays this week the year ahead will be full of opportunity to make changes in your life. You will need to be prepared to shift out of your comfort zone though! On the world scene we may see some new approaches to old problems and perhaps some new faces on familiar people. Locally use the first half of the week to learn a little more about yourself.

Astral Peeks: On the 9th of October a pair of NASA spacecraft smashed into the moon at twice the speed of a bullet, as part of a mission aimed at blasting up signs of water ice. Last year, British scientists identified regions where water might be found on the Moon and estimated that there could be enough to fill one of Europe's largest reservoirs. Footage of this event is being examined for evidence of water beneath the Moon’s surface.
There is some debate as to the wisdom of this act.
