In General: The Sun is in a difficult aspect with Mars and Saturn, and forms a sextile to Pluto this week, adding unwarranted tension to our relationships. At the same time, The Sun and Jupiter conjunct in Pisces making most of us annoyed and irritated by others in general and feeling we are the only ones who can really do anything!! Mercury is giving us trouble but at the same time it is helping us to realize where the real truth of the matter (any matter) lies. Mars is still retrograde and this can be a problem. (Check out astral peeks for more on this). The Moon is full on the 28th of the month in Virgo and opposes Jupiter. This can play havoc with our personal confidence levels and leave many of us feeling slightly under par health wise. If you are enjoying a birthday this week then expect the next 12 months to be challenging but enlightening! On the world scene new and unusual health data becomes available and mars continues to cause unexpected chaos via human aggression, accidents and earth upheavals. Locally, keep up the positive affirmations because this week you will need them!

The 27th through to March 1st are the some of the luckiest days you will have all year! Love and travel are likely to be on the agenda and if you want to optimise all the good energy then place yourself near water! Your only down issue is lack of energy and tiredness. Repairs and new structures around the home are the focus early on this week. The full Moon on the 28th looks excellent for romance and relationships in general. Astral Peeks: Why so many accidents, so much violence...Mars retrograde

Mars Retrograde happens every other year and lasts for approximately 70 to 80 days. Mars is the planet of war, fighting, upheavals and new beginnings.
Imagine trying to put a lid on a volcano and sending the energy back into the Earth. That’s what happens to each of us during a Mars retrograde cycle. That’s why some folks will explode with dissatisfaction and make very poor decisions and moves now, responding with violence and anger instead of patience and discourse.

Most of the conflicts and challenges that appear during Mars retrograde will be impermanent, that’s why you need to keep paying attention to the big picture.
Right now, Mars is still retrograde and has been since December. This month it’s been at the pinnacle of its cycle.

In early February, Mars formed a sextile with Saturn. Both planets are retrograde, and they are moving at close enough to the same velocity of speed to keep them in aspect until mid March. This is very unusual! Mars governs battle and action. Saturn represents rules, structures, business, and responsibilities. There is going to be some flare ups between the two energies during this transit, it’s inevitable. To top all this off Mars and Mercury were in exact opposition on February 13. Mars, in a thorny position, can disturb the tranquility of nurturing environments. There’ll be some risk of tension, conflicts or irrational outbursts, accidents, aggressiveness and violence.
