This month of course is all about the T-Square! Jupiter, having completed its square to Pluto, moves into opposition with Saturn, thus forming an intense cardinal t-square. It’s a month to be careful when we are moving forward, to be cautious in all things and to take our time with major transitions and decision making. Impulsive, imprudent actions can get us into difficulty. Jupiter under stress has a tendency to blow things out of proportion and make mountains out of molehills. It’s important to look at the big picture and be objective!

We should expect some social and economic struggle, issues concerning the new and the old, the traditional and the innovative. Unfortunately prejudices are on the increase, along with suspicion and a general fear of the unknown. Saturn and Pluto on the 21st fuel this even more which is an uneasy place for individuals making election choices!
What we have as a result is a general unease all around that makes people more uncertain than usual about committing to almost anything. Of course there is also retrograde mercury to consider from the 20th too!!

When Mercury is retrograde we can expect mix-ups and general problems with communications, machinery, electricity, transportation, plans and schedules. This retrograde is in Virgo and in Virgo, trouble happens when individuals are so focused on their own backyard, and the little details under their personal control, that they don’t understand the larger reasons for what they are doing or the larger repercussions of what they are doing. It certainly would not be my choice of a rational and focused election date!!

The month closes with a Full moon in Pisces on the 26. Finally a suitable time to sit back and review the conflicting and difficult energies of the previous few weeks.
