In General: Venus is in dynamic mode this week so prepare for more focus on romance. Mercury and Venus enter Sagittarius on November 2. This will keep morale high and the general mood lighthearted. There is an increased desire for adventure, both exploring the new and untested and pushing personal boundaries. However unless there is the freedom for such discovery and exploration, this restless urge is liable to result in agitation. Both Venus and Mercury form a quincunx to Jupiter retrograde on November 5th. This is a time to think about your long-term goals and see if they sit well with all your personal needs and desires. Astral peeks: Crystal Skull journey!

Meditation Moments: Meditation event for 11.11.2011

On Friday November 11th groups of people around the globe will exude inner peace, strength, and happiness intended to brighten the day of every observer. ‘Flash-mob’ style meditation offers a public display of mutuality, peace and harmony, promoting the benefits of meditation. This date will kick-off Sydney’s participation in the global meditation revolution with the event scheduled for an hour which will conclude with a 10 minute sound-bath. It’s intended the event will bring together people of diversity, age, background and religion to come together in silent unity. Individuals will start arriving around 10:30am to connect with others before the meditation begins. At 10:55am they will spread throughout the sitting area outside, being conscious to keep public pathways open. Bring a mat or cushion to sit on. Silence will begin at 11am sharp in accordance with Remembrance Day tradition. Then the 1 hour seated silent meditation begins!
