In general: We should begin to feel a sense of resolve and optimism this week. There is a Grand Trine pending between Jupiter, Neptune, Mars, and Venus which pre-empts this and this will continue to grow in intensity. Not only will individuals be feeling confident and positive, this grand trine will offer fortunate events and opportunities to improve lives and grasp goals. The 9th sees the Moon opposing the Sun. Just when we think we’ve got things pinioned and in order, chaos arrives and we have to wing it. While the grand trine is building up, Mercury will activate yet another retrograde on March 12th. Consequently we may encounter a few characteristic Mercury retrograde surprises, like computer problems, or travel delays. If you celebrate your birthday this week then you should have an enthusiastic year ahead with a sense of anticipation and excitement brewing for your long term future. On the world scene it is a promising week in many ways with some governmental resolve and compassionate resolve to aid the underdogs of the world, however, the 9th and days either side can bring about some equally upsetting surprises. There is very little stability to things this week! Locally double check travel plans.

Aries
You need and deserve a little break this week. In any case taking a step back from activity will give you time to get your head clear and to move forward released from all of the old issues you have yet to resolve! Just keeping your own council and observing those around you will provide you with the answers you require.

Taurus
This is an excellent week for building on all you have prepared thus far. A personal revamp may also be on the cards and new clothes and new style is just what the doctor ordered! A change is as good as a holiday they say! You are finding your emotional strength at this time and feeling more proactive about being you.

Gemini
You may well be changing your mind about things now and looking at life a little differently. Changes around the home, to the home and in living arrangements are also on the cards. Romantic moments and lots of opportunity to spend quiet and pleasurable times with loved ones is also a characteristic of this week.

Cancer
New plans for the future, renewed optimism and perhaps even some higher learning are real possibilities for Cancer this week and indeed into the whole month. You need to back up the new and progressive energy coming your way by really believing in yourself! Many things speed up now and lots of unfinished issues and projects will come to completion.

Leo
Leos are experiencing a deep period of personal transformation and growth now. You are being asked to let go, accept and release fear. Professional advances and career improvement are highlighted. Education and higher learning are also prominent this week and indeed for the whole of March.

Virgo
Redefining relationships and understanding your needs takes up the largess of this week. Changes with finances, investments, work and commitments are on the cards and at any rate events will have you rethinking strategies with many of these. The 13tt is a strong day for you and can be used to make solid decisions.

Libra
Health, work routine and habits are all spotlighted now and may need some attention and readjustments. Look beneath the surface to find the root cause of poor habits. A financial win that relates in some way to family matters is likely to occur this week. New business deals and negotiations in the work place are also more than likely.

Scorpio
A great week with lovely energy around relationships and creativity. Have faith in new endeavours, be prepared to try new things and above all else believe in yourself for the greatest results. Emotionally you are feeling stronger and more balanced than you have for some time. Enjoy and use this time well.

Sagittarius
Saggies are confronting themselves at a deep level right now and it can be quite challenging. Emotional cleansing and inner healing can take place if you remember to sit still in the moment and stop the inner incessant questioning! You guys are rebuilding your lives on many levels and it can only be an improvement.

Capricorn
This is an excellent time to make great connections and meet inspirational people. It can be a life changing time. Its seems that you are more than usually fortunate now and that this actually lasts into the whole month of March. Creativity is amplified and your overall passion for life and adventure is lifted.

Aquarius
Communication and all things high tech are emphasised this week. Money and finances are in sharp focus and inheritances of any kind will also be on your mind. You are ready able and willing to discuss how you feel about things with others now and are not going to hold back! Many of you will be concerned to cut travel costs.

Pisces
You are being offered an opportunity to stop, take your time and smell the roses this week. Healing is afoot and it’s wise to just go with the flow. Neptune lets you get in t ouch with deep emotions and hidden feelings and can throw you into a dreamlike state. Allow this to fine tune you for the new beginning that is coming in late March.

Meditation Moments: The OM /Aum

At the core of our being and at the heart of our cosmos resonates this most ecstatic noise from which all life emanates. According to the ancient Upanishads, the mystical teachings of India, the universe and all its living beings, together with ourselves, have been and are being manifested by this holy syllable which is the Divine Creator in action. To Westerners, on the surface, this may seem like a peculiar belief, but even the Bible hints at this possibility when it says “And the Word was made flesh…”
Chanting OM can have affirmative effects. For centuries, people of all faiths have chanted this mystical sound and in so doing have found personal peace, happiness and even enlightenment. Sometimes spelled AUM, our three states of consciousness, waking, dreaming and deep sleep are represented by the three sounds made when singing this syllable. Chanting OM puts us in touch with the divine part of ourselves and helps us reinstate our natural balance and congruence.
