Astral Meanders December 4-19 2013

In General: This week starts with Mercury moving into Sagittarius. When Mercury is in Sagittarius, we desire to learn about a wide range of topics, to have a general overview of many things.  We are more idealistic, spiritual and broad minded! What is fair and unfair concerns most of us now. With Mercury and Neptune in conflict early on this week too we could feel a little more sluggish than usual. Working alone, taking it easy and having time for daydreams will help! On the 7th mars moves into Libra. Because we can see many different sides to an issue at this time, we can be hesitant and uncertain about things in general. On a positive note we do want harmony so are prepared to compromise and find solutions to the bigger issues. If you have a birthday this week then you will most likely have a year that includes travel and inner growth. On the world scene it’s a time when compromise and better international relations are sought and also a time when individuals will stand up for what is fair in a more demonstrative way! Locally it’s a great opportunity to get some new learning in!

Aries

Career and work are highlighted this week and any form of group oriented activity! It’s a time when being a team player earns the most bootee, and you may also be mingling business with pleasure now. You are putting the whole shebang into perspective now, rather than compartmentalizing.

Taurus

You are processing everything at a deeper more personal level than usual now. You are also more intuitive than usual, picking up all of the unseen cues from people. You are attracted to whatever is non-routine and feel at your best when you are reaching out beyond your usual boundaries.

Gemini

Partners can seem more assertive and needy at this time and power struggles with partners may arise. Your own thoughts become clearer through dialogue so be sure to keep up the communication. More energy in general can mean a tendency to stir up trouble, be careful to channel energy into constructive pursuits.

You are motivated to make to-do lists, pay bills and sort out mess. With health matters you could be thinking of investigating ways to improve health.

Libra

Communications, short trips, errand-running, and a feeling of activity and energy are the themes now. You could have a finger in many pies, as your curiosity is inspired by a larger variety of things than normal. Domestic relations and the home setting tend to be harmonious and peaceful now.

Scorpio

At this point in the year, Scorpios are unlikely to take risks, and can even be fairly resistant to change. This is a time when safety and comfort are more important to you than usual. Some of you may experience insomnia during this phase, particularly if you are not allowing your intuition serve you.

Sagittarius

Pisces

Venus remains visible in the early evening as a bright star like object low in the sky towards the west and is closeto the Moon on the 6th. The best time to view the Moon using binoculars or a small telescope is a few days either side of the first quarter Moon on the 10th. From mid December Jupiter can be seen low in the north-east during thelate evening. Summer solstice on the 22nd is the longest day of the year and gives Sydney 14 hours and 25minutes of daylight. Crux (the Southern Cross) is just above the southern horizon making it difficult to locate. ( Sydney observatory)
