In General: Venus enters ever- practical Virgo on Thursday with Mercury concurrently at opposition to Neptune. This could signal some subterfuge in our lives, or perhaps an out of character change of mind. Mercury also trines Pluto this week offering some healing or beneficial closures, particularly around the weekend. Mercury entering Virgo around this time too, brings quite the practical and organized energy into our day to day living. While many will thrive on this some may find it a bit tedious and wearing! For many it signals a time of difficult, critical and over-demanding others! This is not at all mitigated by the Mars/Uranus opposition that also permeates this week and can cause a hot head or two to blow out! Try to keep a smile on your face and take it all one step at a time. For those with birthdays this week the year ahead will be one for new projects, hard work and focus. On the world scene expect a little political bickering and an unexpected outcome or two! Locally use the weekend wisely and be pleasantly surprised.

Astral News: It seems there is water in more places than scientists had imagined…Titan Saturns Moon last month, was the first to give up a definitive example of liquid on a planetary surface other than the earth and now Mars is proving it can offer up the same! , evidence for surface liquid ethane has been found in the shape of Titan’s 235 kilometre long Ontario Lacus. Named for its comparable size to North America’s Lake Onatario, "Detection of liquid ethane in Ontario Lacus confirms a long-held idea that lakes and seas filled with methane and ethane exist on Titan," says Larry Soderblom of the U.S. Geological Survey in Flagstaff, Arizona. Mars is giving us some surprises," says Phoenix principal investigator Peter Smith of the University of Arizona. After weeks of struggling to deliver a sample of icy soil to Phoenix’s onboard laboratory, the lander’s ovens have finally received their bounty and provided the first direct evidence for water on Mars.
