Astral Meanderings September 24-30 2008

In General: This week begins with yet another Retrograde Mercury! This means we are more likely to have technical hiccups and communication problems! Double check everything of this nature, to minimize damage. Venus moves into Scorpio prompting many of us to desire deep an intense communications in relationships, however, and this just doesn’t sit well with R. Mercury, Oh well, I guess we are in for a few lovers’ spats. Being as honest and as connected as possible will help. The Sun has moved into Libra, sign of balance. The New Moon on the 29th is in Libra making us want justice and fair-play in all our relationships and suggesting we speak up in order to arrange this. If you have a birthday this week the main topic in the year ahead will be relationships and there are some new projects begun too. On the world scene it isn’t a strong period for communication between nations or individuals. Balance, mediation and communication will be on the agenda but with a modicum of confusion and intensity. Locally the focus is also on relating to others and how best to do this.

Astral News: A lunar GPS will one day help astronauts to go deep into the unexplored regions of the Moon, without fear of getting lost in space so to speak, says NASA. Those of the Apollo era had it easy, compared to plans for when astronauts return to the Moon beginning in 2020.The next generation of lunar adventurers is expected to explore regions that have limited radio contact with Earth. To prevent astronauts from becoming disoriented and or lost, NASA is developing a navigation system so astronauts can orient themselves on their own, similar to how signals from the Global Positioning System network are used on Earth. The plan is to combine images from satellites with ground views to create maps of the lunar terrain. Signals from lunar beacons, the crew's lander and, visually from base stations, will give astronauts a picture of their surroundings, similar to what GPS devices on Earth provide. You are restless and fell in the mood for a career change. You could be tempted to do something rash. It is wise to think things through first! Check out the details and make reasonable plans. Pluto can have an unsettling effect and stir up old issues for you guys this week so be aware.

It’s all about discovering your inner power this week. It is not a helpful time for decision making or long term goals but if each day is appraoched in a relaxed way it will be a pleasant enough week. The New Moon on the 29th can bring some emotional issues to the surface again. It makes sense to deal with these.

24 July- August 23

A new health regime or a new approach to old irritating illnesses is on the cards. A dominant theme this week too is visitors. They will flit in and out all week and some will definitely surprise you! Because Mercury is retrograde in you personal communication zone, expect muddles and misunderstandings.

Mercury retrograde really affects you guys big time. You seem to take offence more easily during this time and are quite forgetful too, unfortunately you can also become more self critical than usual too, which is saying something. Life is pretty busy for you now and the biggest issue is just how to juggle all the demands upon your time!

You need to pay more attention to details this week as the tendency is to be a bit muddle headed. The New Moon in your sign on the 29th gives you an opportunity to rethink your focus and check you are on the right path. Tiredness could be an issue right now. Rest if you feel you need it, otherwise your health will suffer.

You are entering into a slightly better financial phase than you have experienced of late. Romance is on the up and up too. This could easily shape up to be one of your better weeks! The challenge of the week is the need to be more open with those around you and not your usual secretive self!

The New Moon is helpful this week and will offer an opportunity for you to better understand yourself. Be clear and open with those close to you and allow them to know where you are really heading goal wise. You are in the middle of a deeply transformational cycle at present and it isn’t always easy!
