In General: A Solar Eclipse occurs on Friday in Capricorn. New beginnings in career, status, accomplishment, and responsibility will be a powerful focus of this eclipse. We should use this time to sow seeds of intent that we would like to nurture and bring to manifestation in our lives The eclipse point is sextile Uranus, signifying our need to be prepared for the unexpected and unusual, to be flexible, and to realize that all change is a necessary part of the flow of life. The eclipse point is also conjunct Venus, bringing interaction with groups, charisma, gratification, and love into focus. Furthermore Mercury retrograde ends on Friday, freeing up communications generally. The atmosphere changes significantly on the 17th as Jupiter completes a 12 month period in Aquarius and moves into Pisces. This brings our spiritual and deeper selves into focus and prompts us to ask ourselves some intense questions about our purpose and value in the universe. The maximum eclipse is at 07:06:31 UT, when the annular phase will last just over 11 minutes. The partial eclipse will be visible over eastern Africa, south-east Europe, the Middle East, and south-east Asia between 04:05:26 UT and 10:07:33 UT.
