In General: This is a Venus week, busy with Venus transits and aspects, and so expect a lot of action in the romantic and relationship department; at times wonderful and at times conflicting influences. To begin with Venus is in Libra from August 6. Individuals are more inclined to use charm than aggressive behavior in order to get what they want throughout this cycle. Venus conjunct Uranus, August 6-10 suggests we embrace all that is new, extraordinary, and out of our comfort zones with regards to romantic involvements. This is an exhilarating but unbalanced energy. Venus conjunct Saturn August 7-9 suggests a sense of duty may lead many to sacrifice personal pleasure for a cause or for a loved one. Troubles in personal relationships that have been previously ignored may surface now. Venus and Saturn August 8-9 can make individuals more self-conscious and cautious with their affections. Venus opposition Jupiter August 10 makes us easily bored with the everyday responsibilities and routines, and some may be inclined to dramatize their lives. Venus square Pluto August 10 brings Jealousy and possessiveness to the fore. If your birthday falls this week then the year ahead will also have a large focus on relationships and you will want to put more energy into this area of your life. On the world scene we can expect all sorts of relationships and partnerships to be in the news and some odd ball occurrences might be a part of this too. Locally it’s time to clear up old issues.

This is not a great time for goal setting or decision making but it is a good week for reviewing the past and reflection. There seems to be an upsurge in social activity this week and lots of support from your partner that may surprise you.
