astral meanders 13-19 July 2011

In General: A Full Moon in Capricorn on the 15th suggests our creative energies will run high. This Moon will illuminate what we have been working on, plans we have been making and issues that we have been confronted with. This moon occurs opposite the Cancerian Sun. Consequently there is an emotional spotlight on all of this and it may not be an emotional space that sits easily with us. Many of us will feel off centre and challenged by the demands of organization and practicality. The key is to let go of any fear or rigidity and listen to our hearts! This Full Moon is accompanied by a square between Venus in Cancer and Saturn in Libra. We can imagine that our relationships will be tested during this Full Moon and indeed for the entire week. If you are having a birthday this week then the year ahead will bring you much success and achievement. On the world scene this is a time in which all the cracks in plans and arrangements will show and in which the fearful side of many will likely be exposed! Locally it’s a great time to get in touch with our deeper selves.

Aries:
The full moon on the 15th demands caution and tact from you guys, which might not be easy for you!! Others will rise to the occasion if they feel put upon by you so use wise caution and trust that your intuition will show you when to act and when not to. Lots of potential for growth otherwise.

Taurus:
It’s a good idea to pay attention to health issues now and give yourself a little holiday if it’s at all possible. You will need to be careful of depleting your energy levels this week and into the rest of July as lots of career opportunities and social engagements assail you. It’s still a good time however, to capitalize upon your increased charisma!

Gemini:
A great deal of effort and focus is needed this week in order to deal with all the demands made upon your time and resources! Don’t despair however as it all will be worthwhile in the long term. Friends will be a source of comfort now and spending time with them can recharge your depleted batteries.

Cancer:
There are opportunities this week for spending some quality time with loved ones and it’s a wise Cancerian who follows this up as much pleasure can be had! You are gearing up for a fast and furious phase so be sure to make the most of your personal and quiet times too. It has been quite a year for you guys and a little healing is in store!

Leo:
It’s a good time for Leos to be thinking of personal healing and new fitness regimes. It is also a great time for spending some energy relationships and nice little intimate get togethers. If you have been doping a lot of inner searching and questioning of late then this week will bring you some answers.

Virgo:
There are many positive benefits for you this week in all areas, finances and career especially. The full moon can be a difficult time for you guys though and bring to light some emotional issues and attachments that you have yet to really work through. Spend the full moon with a good friend for support!

Libra:
A big week for you guys with lots of issues and emotional baggage to work through! Yes, it may be hard work, but putting in the effort to move past this will be worthwhile. The Full Moon on the 15th can be challenging for you too and it’s wise to listen well before you jump to any ill considered conclusions.

Scorpio:
This week is about enjoying the pleasures of life a little more and appreciating the positive in just about everything you do! Love relationships can be exciting now too and open some doors to a longer lasting enjoyment with another. You really just need to listen to your heart now and trust what it says.

Sagittarius:
The 13th-15th are excellent days for keeping a low profile and going about your business with some restraint. Others can be particularly difficult during this time so it’s best not to make any waves. It can be a lovely time for a little break from routine and getting away from it all however.

Capricorn:
Love relationships, work success and a general sense of accomplishment and fulfillment are very likely to be yours this week! The Full moon in your sign is also quite good for you and will offer you some illuminating answers to old questions. Insights made during this time will serve you well in the future.

Aquarius:
Watch your tendency to be negative and critical just for the sake of it this week as others will not be in the mood to respond lightly and you could stir up more than you bargain for! The 13th-`15th are especially trying in this way so do try to lower your profile if you can! You are feeling restless now.

Pisces:
There are ample opportunities to be creative, get focused and have others notice you this week. If you have new projects in mind or are looking for a new job then this is an excellent week to act on things. If you can relax and notice the little positive things in your world then you will be surprised at just how many there actually are!

Saturn is visible high above the Northern Western horizon once twilight ends. By mid-July, Saturn is setting around 11 pm.
Jupiter is visible in the morning sky and rises around 1 am mid-month. With Venus lost in the Sun’s morning glare, Jupiter is now the brightest celestial object in the night sky – excluding the Moon.
Uranus rises around 11 pm mid-month and a telescope will be required to easily identify the planet.
Neptune rises around 8 pm mid-month and a telescope will be required to easily identify the planet.
Mercury is visible low above the Western horizon in the evening twilight for the whole of July. It reaches its greatest elongation East of the Sun on 20 July.
