In General: This
month’s Capricorn New Moon falls importantly, on New Year’s Day. Now, we can
focus on real-world, attainable long-term goals, prepare for the future, make commitments,
identify responsibilities and cultivate our dreams in a realistic way. Pluto will
be joining this new Moon encouraging some very strong structural transformation
in many of our lives. The seeds you
plant for this first New Moon of the Year 2014 are seeds of the long term
future. It will be an outstanding moon for starting something over again, following
an old dream, or just shifting direction in general. This new Moon not only
aligns with Pluto but also with Mercury in Capricorn and forms a dynamic
cardinal grand cross pattern with Uranus in Aries, Jupiter in Cancer and Mars
in Libra. Set your New Year resolutions with care and thought this New Year’s
Eve! Venus is still retrograde this week but it is in a good relationship to
Saturn in Scorpio. This makes an excellent time for finding ways to clear up any
residual relationship issues. Most of us won't be partying so hard on this New
Year's Eve and by the start of the New Year, we will be putting our noses to
the grindstone, clearing up unfinished business and reviewing our ideas of what
is and isn’t working in our lives. It is
wise to plan well, be generally conservative, thrifty and patient this week. If
you have a birthday this week then it’s a major year for you guys, one of
creation and change! On the world scene it is likely older woman will make the
news and woman’s issues in general. Unexpected changes and events that revolve
around power struggles and the need to break free of restrictions can also have

This can be a
stressful week for Aries, but by taking a back seat and observing as opposed to
running wildly in the thick of things as you are want to do, you can mitigate
this stress. Trying to be too outspoken or independent will only leave you under
attack from others now. Be a gentle version of yourself!
Taurus
Patience and your
usual charming charisma will bring some nice benefits your way. Do make a point
of listening to others though. Don’t get involved in animated debates or quarrels.
Just listen well and smile. Your positive outlook will have a good effect on
others around you who are struggling at this time.
Gemini
Whilst the new Moon
seems to be affecting those around you with tension and anxiety you seem to be
in your own little bubble! It can actually be a great time for Gemini, when
things suddenly seem to make sense and fall into place! Your good humour will
prove to be spreadable. Make others happy!
Cancer
This can be a tense
and irritating week for you guys with some delays and general changes in plans
all too common! There is a tendency for you to act out of character and become
you least attractive self now! Try to take a back seat where you can and wait
for this week to pass before over-reacting to situations and people.
Leo
It’s a great week
to observe and reflect and a poor week for interacting with others and verbalizing
your concerns! Most things will be taken out of context and misunderstood! Meditation,
long quiet walks with yourself and early nights will do you the most good now. Be
uncharacteristically quiet and you will find
happiness.
Virgo
It will be smooth
sailing for Virgos this week. There will be few obstacles to deal with. You
will be productive and your efforts will be appreciated. Peaceful and generous
times like this don’t come around that often! Relax and enjoy yourself! Just be
careful not to let others bully you, go at your own speed!
Libra
You need to be
cautious with yourself and your assets now! It can be a stressful new Moon for
many of you and you will need to exercise an overall restraint! A lot of
baggage can be cleared now but you need to trust your initial instincts and not
over think things. Be careful with what you say!
Scorpio
Make an extra big effort
to stay productive this week. Many of your future endeavors will be based on
your approach to responsibility and power now. Short term pain for long term
gain is the key. If you can stay positive whilst putting in the hard yards you
will magnify the good results.
Sagittarius
This is a gentle
week for you guys and going with the flow seems not only the most natural but
also the best thing to do now! A lot of pressure seems to be lifted off your
shoulders now and you can feel as if life is getting easier again! Do be
careful not to make promises without first thinking through the responsibilities
you are taking on.
Capricorn
Stress can build up
between what you want and what others around you want, this week. There is an unfortunate potential for arguments
and clashes now. The challenge is for you to uphold patience, listen well, and
