In General: Uranus turns retrograde in the first week of this month making it a month where we are charged to grow wiser and where we become more of who we are, hopefully with integrity, courage, love and clarity . Saturn enters Libra on the 21st and stays until October 2012. This begins a long focus on relationships of all kinds. How we interact, what we give and where we take within these relationships will become more and more important. Think of this in terms of the political picture too! Jupiter turns retrograde on the 23rd asking us to turn our concentration to those things close to home and to creating a simpler way of being.

The most obvious pull on our energies though comes from the Solar Eclipse (New Moon) on the 11th and in Cancer. This eclipse talks about the Cancerian concepts of compassion, love and peace. It is about finding majesty, agreement and love in our personal lives. As an aside this eclipse falls at the climax of the FIFA World Cup. hmmm. A total eclipse is when the whole of the eclipsed body of the Sun is blocked out and darkened. This eclipse, will not be seen by many people, as most of its pathway lies over the huge expanses of the South Pacific Ocean. It makes no landfall except for the Cook Islands, Easter Island and several isolated atolls. This eclipse makes a sextile to Mars and heralds the final stage of the Uranus opposition to Saturn. So while relationships are the focus of the month, where they do not meet well and where there is confrontation should become more apparent about this time! Also the unexpected and the opposite of what is the norm are more likely.

If nothing else July will not be dull!
