In general: April is a key month for many of us, for
a great deal of change is begun here. With the North Node now in Libra along
with retrograde Mars, and Jupiter in Cancer, relationships are of the utmost
importance this week, be gentle with yourself and partners. The cardinal grand
cross which is also gearing into position mid-month actually gives us a huge
potential to succeed in general, but it is a restless energy and will suggest
greater than usual risks in the process of getting to our goals. Everything and
everyone will be on the boil, and situations can turn topsy-turvy very easily. It’s
important to think first, act later and spend time in quiet meditation now. Pluto
turns retrograde on the 14th, in Capricorn and gives us all time to
rethink our goals and learn from the past. On the 15th’s Full Moon
in Libra, there is a lunar eclipse. This full Moon can challenge us to work through
relationship struggles without making things worse. Ask questions and look
beneath the surface of things before jumping to conclusions. The cardinal signs
of Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn will feel the eclipse the most, but indeed,
every sign will notice the effects to variable degrees. What
we can all expect is swift, unforeseen change to present conditions that
require some adjustment from us. This eclipse will uncover truths and move us
away once and for all from any blocked and outworn elements in our lives. If
you have a birthday this week then it’s a year of mighty challenge but the
results can be mightily worth it too! On a global level, this is probably one
of the most unstable and intense times of the last few decades. We can expect possible acts of terrorism,
natural disasters, earthquakes, extreme weather, and an escalation of military
conflict. It’s an unpredictable agenda all round. We could also expect the global
e economy to go into crisis mode at this time.

now! Old problems can resurface now, frustrations with people and situations

you with April 15’s Full Moon suggesting significant new directions ahead. Routine

of restlessness in April. An overloaded, challenging schedule is likely, but
even if you're not in big demand, there is a propensity to resent being tied

being forced to your attention now so that you can finally deal with them in practical
ways. The focus is on reconciliation, forming or strengthening bonds, mediation,

Full moon Eclipse!
On the 15th April 2014, we'll (weather pending!)
experience our first total lunar eclipse in 2.5 years! For Australians and New
Zealanders, the eclipse will be in progress at Moonrise - approx 5:28pm AEST
when the totality phase will have just started. The further east you are, the
more of the eclipse you'll see. The Total stage of the
eclipse starts at 5:08pm AEST, with Moonrise at 5:28pm AEST and maximum eclipse
at around 5:46pm AEST. The totality phase lasts approx 78 minutes.
A Total Lunar Eclipse is when the Moon passes
completely into the Earth's umbral shadow, described as "Totality".
Total Lunar Eclipses account for the other 35% of all lunar eclipse. These are
the most spectacular type of Lunar Eclipse, as during totality the moon can
take on a range of striking colours. Scattered sunlight passes deep through the
Earth's atmopshere which filters out most of the blue light. The remaining light
renders the Moon in shades of red, orange, yellow and brown - depending on the
amount of dust and volcanic ash in the Earth's atmosphere.
